Best thing to do is start a alt with the new name. Play both characters. That's the price you pay for a name change. You're history follows you in New Eden it's the core of the game.

Are you running at HIGH LOD in the settings. I sometimes turn my settings to low depending on what I'm looking to do with the game. Mostly for casual play I leave my settings high.
